This leads to those being born into privilege having better education and extracurricular activities than someone who was not born into similar circumstances. These circumstances will generally include the school itself, as some are better funded than others, which leads to the pupils at that particular institution being able to excel more than their counterparts at places with a little bit more struggle in their makeup.
Now, while it does provide extra funding to some schools, the real beneficiaries are the students. The programs that it pays for are going to go a long way to helping a child better develop into a fully formed person. This extra development may translate to a greater level of success later in life.
It offers help by using money. That is what makes the world go round. They collect donations to fill up their endowment. Then they empty their coffers to various schools who have projects that need funding that their budgets can no longer provide for.
People volunteer for a number of different reasons. A person can want to seem good, they may volunteer in order to look better in the eyes of their peers.
